Ptl. Stephen Boyd was hired by the borough as a Police Dispatcher and Class II Special Officer in January of 1995. He remained in that position until February '99 when he was appointed as a regular full time Police Officer.He has run the departments police boat for the last 3 years. The main goal of the police boat patrol is to maintain safe waterways on the Manasquan River section of Brielle. Some of his hobbies include Auto Racing and Hunting.
