Sgt. Tomkiel worked at another Police Agency before coming to the Brielle Police Dept. He was hired as a Patrolman on 7/1/82 and promoted to Sergeant on June 1st, 88. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Trenton State College. He enjoys scuba diving, golfing and spending time with his wife and two children.
